GameStop Black Friday Dates and Hours

Unlike many stores, GameStop does not extend Black Friday deals past Black Friday. Last year, they had in-store deals on November 27, though online deals started on Wednesday, November 25. They may possibly announce early Black Friday deals leading up to the actual event, but they have yet to announce anything.

If the hustle and bustle of the holiday season made you forget to pick up some gifts at GameStop, then don’t fret—GameStop has you covered with sweet Cyber Monday deals on November 28.

In-store Black Friday Dates: November 25

Because in-store deals only last one day, you’ll want to head into your local GameStop before they open. Depending on the size of your city or town, there may be a line, so take some snacks and water with you. If you aren’t interested in buying consoles or video games, then you can go later in the day for deals on clothing, gift cards, and game-related t-shirts, which are perfect gifts for your gamer loved ones.

  • Store Hours
    • Mon-Fri: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM (opens at 7 AM on Black Friday)
    • Sat/Sun: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Online GameStop Black Friday: When do deals start going online?

You’ll find deals on GameStop’s online store a lot sooner than on Black Friday. The deals go online as early as the Wednesday before Black Friday. If the thought of going to a GameStop full of eager buyers doesn’t appeal to you, then you’ll definitely want to check out the online deals. Last year, you could get same-day delivery on all orders over $49 in select stores. Though GameStop hasn’t announced its sales plans for this year, we can do similar online promotions during Cyber Monday.

  • GameStop Black Friday Online Dates: November 23/12 AM
  • GameStop Black Friday Cyber Monday Dates: November 28/12 AM

How Do I Get Black Friday Deals Before They Run Out of Stock?

If you’re shopping online for high-value items on Black Friday, then you’ll want to keep your browser open on the product page and refresh every 15 minutes, as that’s how often GameStop updates its inventory. Sign up on their website before Black Friday and have your address and card information at the ready.

Even if you’re only interested in a single item, like a console, don’t disregard bundles. The best deals are often bundle discounts, so sign up for email notifications to few all the available deals.
