Macy’s 2022 Black Friday ad scan is officially live and we’ve seen some serious savings across all categories — this year’s 16-page ad is packed with discounts on bedding, cookware, apparel, toys and everything in between. We’ve rounded up our favorite deals from this year’s Macy’s Black Friday sale, but you can check out the entire ad scan below.

Macy’s Black Friday sale runs from November 20th through November 26th.

Check out the Macy’s Black Friday Early Access schedule: 

  • November 7th – 10th: Macy’s reveals its first round of early Black Friday deals. 
  • November 14th – 19th: New early access specials go live. 
  • November 20th – 26th: Shop all Black Friday specials.

In the very fine print at the end of the ad, Macy’s states that “Merchandise will be on sale at these [and] other sale prices now through 1/2/2023, except as noted.”

That said, don’t wait to do your shopping. Consumers are doing their Black Friday shopping earlier than ever, so some items may run out if you wait too long. Macy’s has a generous return policy, so you can always buy it now and return it later if you change your mind.

When Does Macy’s 2022 Black Friday Sale Begin?

According to Macy’s website, the Black Friday sale will run from Sunday, November 20th through Saturday, November 26th. There’s a hidden coupon on the last page of the ad scan — don’t forget to use it when you shop, you can get an extra 10% to 20% off select categories. If you’re shopping online, enter BLKFRI in the promo code field. 

To ensure you have enough time to shop, Macy’s will open at 6 a.m. and close at 11:59 p.m. on Black Friday. Store hours may vary by location. 

Here are the dates and in-store hours for Macy’s 2022 Black Friday Sale.

  • Thursday, November 24th: Closed for Thanksgiving.
  • Friday, November 25th: 6 a.m. – 11:59 p.m.

Be aware that many retailers, including Macy’s, are anticipating persistent supply chain issues which may result in potential delays with online purchases. Regardless of where you shop, this is yet another reason to begin your holiday shopping early this year.

Macy’s Black Friday deals are already highly discounted, but there’s potential to save even more money on your holiday shopping:

  • Download the Macy’s app. If you don’t already have Macy’s mobile app, you may want to wait until Black Friday to download it — Macy’s has offered discounts for first in-app orders in the past. 
  • Enroll in the Star Rewards Program. Macy’s loyalty program lets you earn discounts toward future purchases based on how much you spend, usually in the form of 1% to 5% kickbacks. The store’s cardholders are automatically enrolled in Star Rewards as Silver-tier members, but you don’t need a Macy’s credit card to join. Anyone can enroll online, in-store or over the phone and become a Bronze member of Star Rewards for free.
  • Buy discounted gift cards in advance. Now is the time to purchase discounted Macy’s gift cards and merchandise return credit through certified websites and eBay accounts. You can save 5-10% off your total order by buying a discounted card.
  • Pick up your items in-store. Spending less than $49? Skip the shipping charge by selecting free in-store pickup at checkout. Last year, shoppers also received a Savings Pass worth 15% to 20% off their next in-store purchase when they elected to ship their online Macy’s order to their local store. Be on the lookout for a similar promotion this year.
